William Frank Hanson, age 86, of Antrim, died peacefully in the home of his daughter on Kennonsburg Road, Salesville, at 10:55 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2025.
He was born November 22, 1938 in Eccles, West Virginia; a son of the late Herbert Theodore Hanson and Sallie Lucinda Day Hanson.
He was retired carpenter. He enjoyed deer hunting, spending time with friends, especially in the Mennonite Community and enjoyed giving suckers to the Amish children.
His wife, Dolores May Hanson died December 27, 2015.
Surviving are three daughters: Kim (Paul) Cooper, Kristy (Ed) Voorhies, and Theresa (Jordy) Mitchell; a son Bill (Rose) Hanson, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; a sister: Kathleen Bragg and a sister-in-law, Judy Hanson.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Hanson; two grandsons, and two brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in the Antrim Community Cemetery.
