Sylvia L. Trushell Albright, age 84, of Conotton, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the Carroll County Golden Age Retreat, surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 23, 1940, at the family home in North Twp, Harrison Co., she was a daughter of the late Daniel Trushell, Sr and A. Rosalie Grace Trushell. She graduated from Scio High School in 1958 and worked for a brief time at the Scio Pottery. She then started working as a nurse's aide for area nursing homes and retired from Sunnyslope Nursing Home after more than 10 years of service.
Sylvia was a member of the Scio United Methodist Church and the New Philadelphia Chapter of the Red Hat Society. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling with her siblings. She was a wonderful cook and baker, known for her delicious pies and macaroni salad. Sylvia enjoyed crossword puzzles and loved to play the lottery.
