Carole D. Nameth Miller, age 83, of Jewett (Germano) went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 3, 2024, from Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV, following a period of declining health.
Born July 21, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Steven Nameth and Matilda Hauber Nameth Tharp and her stepfather Harry Tharp. Carole received an associate degree in accounting from Jefferson Technical College in Steubenville and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in accounting from the former College of Steubenville (Franciscan University of Steubenville). She worked at the Royal Pavilion Skilled Nursing Center and was honored to work for former State of Ohio Attorney General Anthony Celebreeze. She was also the fiscal officer for German Township for 30 years. After retiring, she worked as a substitute teacher for Harrison Hills CSD and at Harrison County Career Center.
Carole was a devoted member of St Teresa's of Avila Church in Cadiz and belonged to the Harrison County Catholic Women's group.
